It is a Christian fiction/fantasy that takes place in the 13th Century.
A kidnapped girl is taken to an island where she runs away from her captors. There is a man on the island who raises her and teaches her how to survive, how to defend herself, and teaches her about the sacraments and what she is missing by not being where there are priests. Eventually, she gets off the island and has to find her way home (there is much more to it than that--it is 367 pages!)
It will be in a series. I just, last week, signed the contract for the sequel!Ruth Apolloniahttp://ruthapollonia.tateauthor.comnoreply@blogger.com
